Threat temperature for summer patch

In this photo, we showed a nice case of summer patch, which is triggered by a threat temperature of 65F (18C). The threat temperatures at this location reached 65F around April 26; however, the disease did not occur until late May. This is typical for summer patch because although the fungus is active, symptoms do not usually show up until 4 to 6 weeks later.
