Tifeagle spring transition experiment (48 hours)

48 hours after removing the overseeded layer and incubating turf at 72 F and constant light, Tifeagle bermudagrass has begun to green up remarkably rapidly. Sample was taken in April, 2007 from a TifEagle green in the Palm Springs, CA area that had been overseeded with Poa trivialis and ryegrass the previous October.
