Seedheads in zoysia collar

This photo was taken in Fukuoka, Japan, on 16 November 2023. There are conspicuous seedheads on the himei korai (Zoysia matrella) collar mown at 8 mm. The green is the same variety of zoysia mown at 2.8 mm and has no visible seedheads. The fairway is the regular type of zoysia mown at 12 mm and does not have visible seedheads.
