Rhizoctonia on zoysia

Photos provided by Dr. Mike Richardson (@ArkansasTurf on Twitter), University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Top photo taken using a drone (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle UAV). The lower photo was taken of the same area, but at ground-level.

Symptoms are caused by Rhizoctonia solani on zoysiagrass. Note the rectangles of relatively healthy turf in in the center and lower left part of the top photo. The healthy areas are part of fungicide efficacy trials. The arrows illustrate the same point in the aerial image and the ground-level photograph.
