Preventive Pythium control with phosphites

Trials conducted at Pennsylvania State University, 2003, on perennial ryegrass. Note that while all products tested performed better than the non-treated control, conventional chemicals (Segway, Banol, Subdue) provided the best control. Phosphite type products (Vital, Alude, Chipco Signature) provide good preventive control, but must be used on a regular (monthly) and preventive basis for best results.
