Penn A1/A4 creeping bentgrass green with no P fertilizer for 16 years

This is the first green at Thousand Acres in western Maryland on 16 April 2024. This green was seeded in 2008. At that time, P2O5 was applied at a rate of 50 kg/ha (1 lb/1000 ft2). No P fertilizer has been applied to this green since establishment in 2008.
The green is free of Poa annua and bentgrass roots are more than 10 cm deep. The green, as of April 2024, does not show visual symptoms of P deficiency.
