Oakfield Model C soil auger
Using a soil auger sampling tool for fairways. Fairway soils are frequently compacted and difficult or impossible to sample using a standard soil probe. We use the Oakfield Model C soil auger to overcome compaction problems to allow collection of a representative sample. The Oakfield Apparatus Model C 1.25 inch diameter soil auger with step saver bucket kit is the ideal tool for difficult to sample soils.
