The Tweet noted: "We are currently experiencing our 3rd driest start to our rain season in the past 30 years! I updated the graph in hopes for rain this weekend will allow us to put the hoses away for the year." The 2020-2021 La Nina has been firmly established and will be around for the next few months. In Southern California, the lack of rainfall can increase water budgets by 15-20%.
