Gray leaf spot threat

June 27,2006. Gray leaf spot was diagnosed in Oceanside, CA on ryegrass roughs approximately three weeks after reaching a GLS index of 140. The GLS index was developed by Dr. Frank Wong of UC Riverside, and is the sum of the highest temperature (F) and the lowest relative humidity for the day.
