Diagnosing a Poa annua problem
Poa annua in a mixed turf approach was dying, while adjacent kikuyugrass and bermudagrass were not. Poa was easily tugged from the surface, suggesting that white grubs or some other root damaging pest was involved. However, the culprit was probably a pre-emerge herbicide application four months earlier. Southern California, July, 2007.
