Del Mar, California average air temperature (F). Leif Dickinson, Superintendent at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club (DMTC) noted that the bermudagrass track at DMTC was not recovering after racing traffic as well as the past few years. The average temperature data taken from the nearby Torrey Pines California Irrigation Management Information Systems weather station confirmed that average temperature was lower in 2019 compared to the three previous years.
