Photo of the week: grass clippings

We've been checking leaf nutrient content of grass clippings for many years in order to generate a completely new set of PACE leaf nutrient normals that are specific to common grass species, and that are based on grasses managed in the current era.

The photo at right shows grass clippings drying in the sun after a quick water rinse to separate sand from the clippings.
