Wichita weather
Chris Ryan (@CRgreenside on Twitter) posted a photo comparing the same area at Wichita Country Club, Wichita, KS in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Green-up was poor in 2018 compared to 2016 and 2017. When we compared the accumulated percent growth potential for these three years, 2018 is clearly well behind the development of 2016 and 2017. Growth potential is valuable golfer communication tool in helping to relate the impact of weather on turfgrass performance.
