Spring Dead Spot Fungicde Timing

Nathan Walker, Oklahoma State University conducted a trial in 2004 to determine the best time of application for spring dead spot. His results suggest that September is the best time for fungicide application in Oklahoma. All treatment timings were better than the non-treated check and there was no significant difference between timings but there was a clear relationship indicating that fall applications were most effective and at least two applications in the fall are needed for good results.
