Soil inorganic nitrogen (N) affected by sample handling procedures

Bryan Rutter and Dorivar Ruiz Diaz collected a soil sample and then measured what happened when they refrigerated the sample, or when they left the sample in a truck bed. Read their blog post here.

This image from the blog post shows that when the samples were left in the truck bed, soil inorganic N more than tripled in 2 weeks compared with refrigerated samples.
