Red gum lerp psyllid

Nymphal stage. The nymph, or immature stage of Glycaspis brimblecombei is tiny (less than 1/8 inch long) and feeds on foliage of redgum and other eucalyptus trees. See this photo of the adult stage and this photo of the protective lerp that the insect produces.
