Healthy poa plant on the left and diseased plant on the right. Note water-soaked appearance of diseased plant and lack of new leaf growth (all leaves have been mowed). The new leaf on the healthy has not been mowed. Southern California, January, 2007. Rapid blight caused by Labyrinthula terrestris.
