Plant health effects of pigments

View Larger A 2013 study by Dr. Bert McCarty and colleagues measured the ability of two pigment products to help bentgrass withstand the effect of heat stress (95F daytime temperatures). The data showed no positive or negative effects when three different parameters of plant stress (including photosynthetic efficiency, as shown above) were measured. Only the bentgrass maintained at lower temperatures (82F) showed good photosynthetic efficiency. Read here for more information
