Microdochium patch, caused by Microdochium nivale, on poa annua green in Southern California. Samples were washed and incubated at 72F overnight. Only twelve hours later, the aggressive cottony white mycelium appeared. Heavy sporulation was also observed when foliage was examined under the microscope. Photo by L. Stowell, 2007.
