Effect of application volume on dollar spot control

Significantly better control of dollar spot with chlorothalonil was achieved using an application volume of 1.2 ga/1000 sq ft vs. 2.5 ga/1000 sq ft. Data in 2003 and 2004 showed similar trends. Study was conducted on fairway height bentgrass by McDonald, Dernoeden and Bigelow.
