8 cultivars of bermudagrass and 1 cultivar of buffalograss were subjected to 60 days of drought during 2006 and 2007. The number of days for each cultivar to lose 50% of each green color were determined. Celebration bermudagrass had the best drought tolerance in both years of the study, while Premier bermudagrass had the least drought tolerance. Data from K. Steinke et. al. 2011.
