Direct soil electrical conductivity (EC) measurement using the Spectrum Technologies Field Scout EC meter. The meter reading of 0.8 must be converted to a saturated paste equivalent before comparing results to turfgrass salininity tolerance tables (see Table 1 for conversion and Table 2 for turfgass tolerance to salinity.
