Del Mar, California accumulated growth potential. Leif Dickinson, Superintendent at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club (DMTC) noted that the bermudagrass track at DMTC was not recovering after racing traffic as well as the past few years. The accumulated growth potential clearly illustrates that 2019's consistently cooler temperatures have led to lower bermudagrass growth potential, and therefore has been less suitable for bermudagrass growth compared to the previous three years.
