Chinch bug

View Larger Underside of chinch bug nymph. Note the "beak" (mouthparts) -- a long, thin, light brown stylet (it appears to originate between the 2 antennae and runs about 1/3 the length of the insect body). The beak is used to pierce plant tissues.
