Billbug distribution

The location and intensity of billbug damage on this kikuyugrass fairway was mapped in August, 2008, using the precision tools precision tools described here. Billbug damage was heaviest in the red areas of the map, on the western side of the fairway, particularly near the bunker. Dave Zahrte, CGCS, of Santa Ana CC (Santa Ana, CA) was the research cooperator in this ongoing study.
