Leaching case study, David Major, CGCS, Shady Canyon Golf Club, Irvine, California, May 10, 2007. Irrigation was applied between 7:00 pm and 6:30 am the next day. This photo was taken in the morning following the leaching event. The irrigation was delivered using Rainbird 351 sprinklers that deliver about 5 gal/min from 12 heads. The green is 11,250 sq ft in size. The green received a total of 6.2 inches of irrigation.
